King puppet

You may recognise this slightly disgruntled-looking King from "Orson and Valentine". This year he is appearing again to star in the story of "The King's Well" as part of "Troubadour Tales".
He doesn't look too happy. He is sick of being type-cast and needs a new crown.

Shadows for "Troubadour Tales"

Jackwynda puppet (For "Troubadour Tales")

Here is Jackwynda, my latest puppet. She is to be starring in "Troubadour Tales" in May, alongside a more human-sized double.

Here are a few photos recounting the Making Of Jackwynda. Pretty much anything I could get my hands on was used for this and it was a lot of trial and error! Tears were shed (both mine and her's) but now she is almost finished.

Troubadour Tales - coming this May!

I am currently working on a brand new production, "Troubadour Tales", for this year's Brighton Fringe Festival. Written by Craig Jordan-Baker, "Troubadour Tales" is a cross-discipline family show combining music, puppetry and object manipulation. Watch this space!

Troubadour Tales
From their woodland camp, troubadours Jackwynda, Jana and Giuseppe take you on a journey jammed with music, puppetry, songs and stories of mischief, magic and mystery! Along the way we encounter the largest castle in the world, a very talkative otter and a girl who fears her own reflection. So come and join us for troubadour tales!
